Gone at 65.
My youth is disappearing.......
When I was a kid, I lived in a courtyard apartment where there was a big pool in the middle. I was like 12 or 13. There was a young woman who used to lay out by the pool with Van Halen playing on a portable boombox. Southern California in the 70's. I adored her. I heard that music then and that memory can't be unplanted. I wonder where she is now?

He was a master and he was brilliant. I will never forget that sound. He is missed.
And I didn't know he had lung cancer too. Jesus he fought a lot and long.
OK, thank you for posting that Steve, teary and I was wondering what his ex-wife would have to say about his death. They seemed to stay close friends throughout which was nice to see.

That guitar solo in Jackson's Beat it was amazing.
I'm so fucking sad.
Now reading his son's words, poor Wolfie. They did seem very close indeed throughout the years.
Fuck me. Now I think that is young ferchrissake, didn't even know he had cancer so I wonder if he kept if very private and no one hardly knew outside of his close circle.
