ACROSS THE BORDER
Where the banned are
One of the better concerts I attended was Bonnie Raitt a few years ago. She was good, although - being spoiled by Bruce - her show was a mite static and not at all spontaneous.
Other than that I have to confess to myriads of concerts of various Irish folk musicians in my youth. And country music - Emmylou, Linda and friends.
Oh, and Joan Baez was here in her later years. Again, a very sedate concert. She spent a lot of time tuning her guitar.
i regret not seeing Glenn Campbel when he came to Dunedin in good form and good health years ago but the town hall is crap for concerts
The only person I would have swapped any of my Bruce moments for (and I have nowhere near as many as you lucky lot in the 💯 club) is Otis Redding. One of my biggest regrets is not bothering to queue, especially as Dave did as he enjoys reminding me...
I‘ve seen Bruce 100 times too, but I’d have swapped a few of them to have seen Leonard Cohen more often.
I once went to see Steely Dan and sold a Bruce ticket to do so (gigs were on the same night).😮
I've seen Bruce over 100 times. I've never seen Steely Dan and they're incredible. Might have done the same. Maybe.
@Jerseyfornia Steely Dan hardly ever played the UK and the show was in 2009 at a theatre Bruce had played in during the 81 River tour so I just had to go. This was with Donald Fagen and the much missed Walter Becker, so it was a special night for me. My wife doesn't like SD so I took our (at the time 16 year old) daughter with me, she loved it.

I have a clear conscience as far as I know.
Nah, he was away mostly.
I once coveted my neighbour's Ox.
