One of those films that you just can’t dislike, despite it being quattro formaggi with a side order of extra cheese. Listening to various news bulletins the overwhelming message is that ONJ really was as lovely as you ever hoped she was.

Sad news, she was such a sweetheart... Battled cancer gracefully for so long...

My favorite ONJ song, I know it's corny, but I love it anyway...

Sad news, she had a lovely voice and as Rick said, stirred a million teen emotions in Grease......and beyond.

I believe she's been fighting cancer for a number of years, so I'm guessing that was what did for her.

RIP girl.

My good lady wife knew I was the one for her (I already knew she was the one for me) when we discussed our mutual love of ONJ and Grease and I mentioned the only problem with the film (besides it being absolutely terrible and I love it anyway) is that she looked impossibly perfect for the first 90% of it. 🙂

By the way, an interesting thing about two of her biggest hits—"Magic" and "Physical"—is that despite being poppy pop, and at least disco-ish, if not outright disco, is that (as with a surprising amount of disco), they're in a minor key for most of the song. A cool juxtaposition.
