Can we have a thread about upcoming releases we're looking forward to?

I've recently gotten into Travis after a friend's recommendation. They have a new album, 10 Songs, coming out Oct 10. One of the new singles is this utterly gorgeous tune. Can't believe the more lovely than ever Susanna is 61?!

Also looking forward to Elizabeth Cook's new album, Aftermath, out on the 11th.

What else is coming out soon?

Tom Petty’s expanded ’Wildflowers’ re-release

Drive-by Truckers ‘The New OK’, vinyl December, digital earlier. The Unraveling was an excellent follow-up to American Band, so hopeful they’ll make it 3 in a row.

Covid 19 has been a real bitch on so many

For me it seems the end of this year is all about long awaited re-releases, remasters or deluxe editions.

The deluxe extended editions of two of my most loved albums are both being released soon. Seeds of Love by Tears For Fears and Sign 'o' The Times by Prince.

Ben Harper is releasing an instrumental album and if the track I've heard is anything to go by, it will be absolutely superb.

And who knows, maybe the man that indirectly led to this forum being started might release something new for us to relish soon...

I've heard one new Ben Harper track and it is tremendous. Does instrumental normally do it for me, not really, but this one song sure did. He's so good though, not surprising.

@Kay I cannot wait for his instrumental album. It’s called Winter is for Lovers and when I got to see him in mid 2019 (which now feels like a hundred years ago) he played a couple of songs from it. That night was one of the best live experiences I have ever had. 8 feet away from Ben with a semi circle of acoustic instruments behind him. 2 hours felt like 10 minutes. I was entranced by how phenomenally bloody good he is on stage.

I've always liked Travis although I don't own any of their stuff. I heard this song last week on Radio 2 ... very nice. That's probably why I don't have any of their records ... just 'nice' to listen to. I might stump up for a 'Best of' if they have one.
