Of all the other artists I've seen mentioned on these Greasy Lakes I don't think I've ever seen RT referenced. Any fans here? I think the guy is extraordinary. In fact I'd say most of his '90s, early '00s outshine Bruce. Any comments?

He seems to be reflecting on the Faiport/Linda years of late. Which is great for early fans but I favor the post Richard and Linda career.
Richard's "Beeswing: Losing My Way and Finding My Voice," will be published on April 6, 2021. Autobiography covering his years with Fairport Convention, and the move to working with his wife Linda. Something to look forward to.
I like RT. I know his career goes much farther back but I 'discovered' him through the Dream Attic album. Superb songwriter and guitarist, as mentioned.
I don't usually speak in these terms, but I will say confidently that Richard Thompson is the greatest guitarist on earth. If that was his only talent he would be a major player. But he's a remarkable songwriter and live performer. Electric guitar with a full band, solo acoustic, it doesn't matter, his shows are always 10 out of 10. And between songs he reveals great humor and intelligence. On top of all that I can tell you, having met him after a show back in the 80s, that he's a gracious, down to earth guy. So yeah, I'm a fan.
I've liked this song and had it on my iTunes/Apple Music since I first heard it on Sons of Anarchy.
