The Small Faces were my first gig is one of the coolest things I think I've ever read.

Impressed and properly in awe!

My dad had a copy of it which he brought back from the UK when he worked on the airlines. It was in a round cardboard cover, if my memory is correct. He could perfectly recite all the Unwinisms....

3 of my Small Faces favourites in there @whispered secret... Nice! Not too long ago I got an anniversary mono remaster of Ogdens Nut Gone Flake.. Takes getting used to after being so familiar with the original stereo mixes but it sounds amazing.

I remember getting Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake when I was 14, it was unlike anything else in my, very limited, collection. The whole idea of a concept album, the unusual songs, Stanley Unwin's narration and that incredible packaging made it stand out. Heaven knows what happened to my original copy!

I think I might play the whole album today.

The Small Faces were my first gig - 8th March 1967 at Birmingham Odeon!
