Ended up with an extra pair for Bruce's Dallas show at American Airlines Center, so selling it for face value. 109 Row H Seats 1-2. These are on the aisle! Really great seats. $784.85 for the pair. DM me if interested!
Wise decision. The alternative to having them posted was to collect on the day and I just really didn't want that hassle, but it is an extortionate amount to charge.
@Walkerinthesun i know what you mean about the language thing - at one stage we couldn't get the Vienna site to work in English - very stressful, I had google translate on the iPad while Mr J had the ticket site on phone and laptop!!
I really don't understand what this dynamic pricing is all about. Are ticket prices going up as demand increases? If so, it's a shitty way of doing business.
I'm satisfied with what I have, I think I might have been able to get Pit A for Monza but panicked and got Pit B. We are sitting for Amsterdam and Vienna. I think the Vienna seats are good ones, less so Amsterdam but I had to take into account how much son and girlfriend could afford as they are coming too.
All in all it will be a summer to look forward to!
I honestly don't know what I will do about UK shows, but I know I won't be trying with the same urgency as I was for the Euro shows.
@whispered secret Yes, same as airlines use for seat pricing, as I understand it. Bit like how getting to/from Dublin next May more than doubled over a weekend…….makes me cross 🤬
I can only hope for more shows because all my efforts have been in vain. Sad day! Never before have I had this problem. I always wondered why the Americans made such a deal out of getting tickets, but this time, I was defeated on all four tries: Hamburg, Munich, Düsseldorf and Vienna. 😪😥😫
@whispered secret Late at night I got two rickets for Munich, horribly expensive, but I will be turning 75 in Oktober, so they can be my birthday present to myself. I'm looking for more chances without having to travel too far.
Don’t give up, I had a terrible day on Tuesday, spent hours trying unsuccessfully for Paris. Got sorted the following day with great tickets for both shows.
Can't help but be excited about the next year. So much so that listening to certain songs is already more thrilling than they have been over the last however many years.
You hitting at least one show this time youngling? I assume you are waiting for the UK dates to be announced. You can't just leave it at Sunderland 2012 my friend...
@Bosstralian Well, I've long been (rather pessimistically) saying with appreciative acceptance that I saw my only ever show on June 21st, 2012, and with a year where anything can happen in-between this upcoming tour I definitely don't want to tempt fate by saying I'm 100% going to a show. Anything can happen.
That said, on Tuesday I was able to weather the egregious storm that was the Paris pre-sale, and several hours later faith was rewarded. Again, don't want to tempt fate - I feel like I'm doing that even writing this - but maybe 21/6/12 won't be where this story ends after all.
Edit: So yeah, "BONSOIR PARI!" is what I'm hearing when I close my eyes and envision hahaha.
@Mario Brega However it shakes out and whatever you're trying for, whatever you think you may try for... I hope karma strip's everything from the curmudgeonly losers whining how this will be a shadow of what it was and bestows you with both the finances and fortune to have the killer seats at several Bruce shows next year that you want and deserve.
Today was hellish. I spent over two hours glued to my computer & phone this morning...
I got thrown out of the Vienna waiting room a couple of times. Whenever I got in, I was able to select the tickets, had already seen the seats displayed on the screen, clicked my way through the purchasing process, only to get thrown out again and again...
In the meantime, as Vienna seemed to be getting out of hand, I clicked on the presale for Munich (on another Ticketmaster site), I was 25193 in line, but I kept the window open, just in case.
The Vienna site later posted an explanation about the technical issues, so I assumed some of the tickets were still available. I tried again half an hour later, got in, and got two seats. I clicked for the best-seated option and did not have the nerves to change the seats, I simply confirmed what was offered and got the first row of the third tier, in the middle of the stadium, for a very reasonable price.
The Munich waiting room miraculously emptied as I was finishing the purchase for Vienna, and I could also select tickets there. Because it was a backup plan, I wasn't exactly sure what to do, but I was so high on adrenaline, and it seemed like a wasted opportunity not to buy the two additional tickets. So I got two GA tickets, the cheapest. Basically, Munich was an impulse purchase, driven by all this technology crap I had to go through, and I admit to yielding to temptation...
I realized later that 2023 would mark the 30th anniversary of my first Bruce show, which just happened to be in Munich, so that was a nice twist of fate, and it might just be the full circle.
I want to add that I made a secret vow not to go on the secondary markets for the upcoming tour. If I didn't get the tickets today, that would also be OK.
After a somewhat fraught morning, we now have tickets for Vienna - quite good seats, which I'm happy with. Three times we got to the front of the queue, only for our seats to disappear!
Only real gripe is that there was no option for electronic/print at home, or, if there was we couldn't see it. Ended up paying 35 euros for postage!! It better be a nice ticket when it arrives!
Got me a Pit ticket for the first night in Paris! I will try to get a Golden Pit ticket anyway but it doesn't seem likely at this point. Beyond excited! 😄
Thanks to Louisa got into the Gothenburg waiting room to find I was number 31,000+ in the queue, this was about 20 minutes before on sale time, my heart sank, but, it started to count down quite quickly after sale start and jumped down approx 3,000 every 2/3 minutes, so Sat it out and was done and dusted in about 30 minutes, in hindsight found it ok, after bank fixed an authorisation hiccup for during checkout.
Kind of illustrates why I asked. When I went for my Dublin tickets I went straight in to a waiting room with no indication (that I noticed) where I was in any q. Once it went live at 8 I then found I was 21,000+ but like yourself it counted down quick and all was good in the end with my buddy getting the 1st night tickets too.
My suspicion was that it didn’t matter when you entered the waiting room, you got your q position randomly allocated, which to be honest I don’t really mind.
So, has anyone figured out how this ’waiting room’ malarkey actually works - would I be right in thinking that when the queue goes live anyone in the room is allocated a random position in the line? Need to be ready for Barcelona…….🤞
Got tickets for Amsterdam too thanks to a pre-sale code posted on GL. Seats not the best but son and girlfriend are coming too and there's is a limit to what they can afford.
Two tickets bought this morning for Monza, Pit B1. Very happy with these! Pit A had all gone, but I really don't think either of us were up for that anyway.
Thank you, thank you to Louisa for her invaluable help which meant we managed to get tickets for both night 1 & 2 for Gothenburg…could have got in for night 3 as well, but my head ruled my heart and decided to pass and wait for UK dates instead.
That’s great!! Maybe I’ll see you there 😂. I had 3 screens open - 2 computers, 1 iPad, - and just before 4 am I decided to log on with my phone too, and the phone got in first! What a relief.
@karenburke247 It be a return to the stadium for me, I was lat there 11th May 1983 to see Real Madrid lose in a European Final for the last time, we just might manage to pick each other out amongst 75,000 others. Nowhere booked to stay yet…any tips on that ?
Ok, I know I haven’t been on the forum in ages. I’m back.
I got seated tickets for Dublin (good ones) and for Copenhagen (bad ones), but my husband does not like standing in crowds, so this is a good choice, for peace. I‘m getting up for 4 am tickets hopefully for Gothenburg. That should be enough.

An interesting listen.
The boy from Live Nation comes across as an arse.
Lengthy piece on the scam-fest that is concert ticketing:

Tickets for Vienna arrived this morning - it only cost us 70 euros for postage...
Barca: GA night 1, pit night 2
Chuffed to bits 🥹
Anyone else gone for a bit of spring warmth?

I'd travel 3rd class to get there for £28 and 5 Bob.
Any rumours on North America dates?

Happy to read about the successes in getting tickets for these Euro shows. Should be a fun tour!

I fully agree with that and hope it works out that way for me as well….it is so much better attending shows abroad than the UK shows.
