Super tight, delivered lean in all the right places eg Badlands not the bloated dinosaur it had become! Pretty much all lead played by the man, tho’ Nils delivered as he does & Steve took only one solo as I recall. Felt very much Bruce’s show with little band interaction evident from 1/2 way back, and bar the George Theiss monologue and intros little chat.
Sound pin-sharp where we were.
Of course the set is pretty much the set, tho’ will be interesting to see if 2 nights in the same town prompts a bit of a shuffle around.
No idea why he’s keeping Nightshift in there. Dire. Stopped the flow dead imho, and took a bit of time to regain momentum for the final run in to encore, though HT was a bonus.
GA access was shambolic - we were there plenty early, sent to the wrong gate and only found out at 18:00, hence so far back. (Must improve my Spanish tbf.) Some still queuing when they kicked off at 9 apparently, and they ended up throwing open additional access points.
Pit roll-call seems OK - we’re 270/271 for Sunday night which suits just fine.
Michelle looked like she was having fun and shakes a nice tambourine. Blonde woman alongside was Spielbergs wife I’m told. We bumped into the Obamas on the town at lunchtime, albeit separated by mean looking guys with big guns, almost as grey as me nowadays.
And yes, I did have a dust speck or two in the eye by the closer.
I understand the mixed emotions we are dealing with very well but am still very excited and happy for everyone who gets to see him in the following months.
Who's up next from round here? I know there is at least one person going to Dublin and one to Paris...
Are you going again tonight?
Seems to echo what's been said about the tour @Walkerinthesun. Tight, right at albeit with a stable set-list.

Hope the gig was awesome.
