Don't have a great feeling about this! Transport is a train from Milan, then a mini bus to the venue. Don't fancy any of the support acts and thunderstorms are forecast. 🤔
So, here's my more thoughtful review of last night.
The show was good, although I do think he looked a little weary and I am sure he will be happy to be home!
The light show was the most effective I have seen, maybe because the venue was in the middle of nowhere, but also it got darker earlier in the set.
There were extra screens and the sound was fine. The crowd were good fun and, even at the back, seemed engaged and enthusiastic.
The venue though was just appalling, insufficient shuttle buses which dropped us off over a mile from the entrance, poor entrance signage which meant everyone going through the same entrance and fighting your way to the correct area (we didn't bother and just stayed at the back).
As a consequence of the shortage of buses we left after Glory Days, I have never left early before, but I just couldn't face the scramble for the buses. The whole thing just felt too much like hard work and I think fans deserve better than this.
It's Spain. They're having a drought. T-shirts and shorts'll be fine.
Cue 2 hours of freezing cold thunderstorm rain coming down like stair-rods. No shelter whatsoever as we were in the holding area before Barca 2 pit entry.
Blue hands, water flowing down back into trainers via bum crack, trench foot.
Weather was atrocious yesterday, really bad storms in Monza apparently and we had one overnight here. However, all seems calm now so just thankful the show wasn't yesterday!
It's going to be soggy underfoot and I only have sandles...
In other news, Dave is in mourning for Trevor Francis (with apologies to those who don't do football). It's stopped him moaning about standing in a wet field, at least for the moment!
Weather forecast has improved, now showing rain in the morning, which would be a huge relief as I have Dave saying he doesn't want to stand in the rain to see a show he has already seen 3 times...😂

My sandals survived though!
Great show, shit venue!

Who are supporting?
