Y'know I'm pretty torn right now. On one hand I want these sets to open up. I don't want to review the 'same' setlist over and over this year and I especially don't want my show in May to only feature these songs; but on the other I really love this setlist he's playing hahaha. It's not perfect and I wouldn't mind seeing "No Surrender," "Out in the Street," "Johnny 99" and a couple of others switched put every now and then, but we'll see what tonight brings!

"I'm On Fire" makes its tour premiere, while "Burnin' Train" returns, this time in the main set. "Nightshift" is dropped for the first time on the tour. Curtis King, Lisa Lowell, and Patti Scialfa are all absent.
My gig-buddy is over in the NW at the moment. His thoughts on the show:
A shot my kid took a few hours ago here in Portland:
Her first Springsteen show. She's home now and deliriously happy.
I think he has something specific to say in a very particular way. I am fascinated with the shows so far. Specifically because I was so mad about the tickets. Now that there are going to be shows I can attend I have softened and I can enjoy this for what it obviously is, a look back, goodbyes, and the heart stopping earth shaking soul quaking E Fuckin Street Band!!
