It's getting close I think.
When I get the chance I'll post the sequence of videos I have.
Muir of Ord has a population of something like 3000.
It all went a but Compton for a spell.
Crikey, Jaki‘s got some chutzpah! No business sense whatsoever tho’.
Meanwhile, back here in Ruritania……
Respect where it's due, RIP Your Majesty.
I'm one who would like to see Australia pull on it's big person pants and become a republic. Many have said that perhaps the passing of Elizabeth might speed up that process.
Queue tone deaf fucktards like the the leader of the Australian Greens basically tweeting a message with the first line being some tokenistic tribute to the Queen, and the next being a call to arms for those agitating for a republic.
Read the room, clown. You are gaining no extra votes to the cause with this reaction. Even people like myself sympathetic to this view are borderline offended by the audacity of throwing this out there on the same day the Queen passed.
I'm the first generation Aussie born of people who fled the Baltics during WW2 and were accepted as refugees in this magnificent country. The English monarch as my head of state is all I know. I believe a country made of English decendents, but also Estonian descendants like me, the thousands of Italians and Greek descendants we have, the Vietnamese who arrived here after their war, etc etc, but especially the descendants of our indigenous population deserve more than to be subservient to a foreign head of state.
But, for now, we were and still are... and it could've been a hell of a lot worse than Queen Elizabeth. If nothing else, a remarkable and seemingly upstanding human being from someone like me viewing from the far bleachers. Rest in peace.
It appears "Jacki" of "Jacki's Chipper" in Muir of Ord has made the worst business decision since Gerald Ratner.
Operation Unicorn is live.
