Semi-computer literate that I am, I still have the problem that any time someone likes one of my posts or answers one, I get a mail. I have banned them into the spam filter, but can I do anything to stop that, and if so, how and where?
Please explain carefully and easy, or I might not understand. (And the phenomenon occurs both on computer and phone).
I managed to deactivate the notifications that I didn't want by clicking on "manage your email preferences" from an email that came from the site. I would have done this from account or profile sttings but couldn't find that.
Still it's all good so far. I think admin are doing an amazing job in such a short time.
What is it specifically that you can't do on your mobile but you can on your PC? When you say that sometimes you can do it and sometimes not, do you mean the PC or mobile? Thank you.
@Greasy Lake For Us What I meant was the option where you can switch different kinds of notifications on or off exists somewhere but isn't available all the time, or I cant find it at least. I thought it was phone/PC issue, but it isn't. Half an hour ago I found these settings under Private messages, which was weird, now I can't find them at all. I'll make a screen shot next time.
Thank you. Thank you. I should have been able to figure that out myself! 🙄

You can now stop and customize email notifications in the new section of the user profile: Settings.

I believe that users cannot deactivate notifications from the web, but I think that from the control panel I can. Will investige.
I couldn't manage notifications on my phone, had to do it on PC. But even now, I sometimes have the option, sometimes not.
