Ok, maybe not the magazine we all want to think is appropriate for our best guy, but here‘s an interview just published. And the photos are beautiful. https://www.aarp.org/entertainment/music/info-2020/bruce-springsteen-letter-to-you.html?intcmp=AE-HP-TTN-R2-POS2-REALPOSS-TODAY

This was a great interview, I'm excited for what's yet to come.
The organisation I work for has links with other organisations which provide singing therapies for people with dementia. I have attended a couple of sessions and it is extraordinary to see people who have restricted cognitive abilities recall whole lines or even verses of songs. I was told the rythm of the the songs help the words flow. Those that do not sing still clap. It shows how important music is to humans.
It's rather sad that half the world knows his name but his mom doesn't any more. She still knows his music though and is happy in her confusion, so that is something to be thankful for.
I don’t think this is the first time he’s had an interview in AARP...I’ll try to dig out other one.
Thanks Karen .... Good stuff !
Oh, and 'aap' in Afrikaans is ape or monkey.... So aarp sounds a bit like monkey. 😊
Another nice read. The Letter To You movie sounds interesting too.
Circulation of over 23 million people.... Awesome!
Thanks. I enjoyed reading that and some gorgeous pics. 💓
Do I assume AARP is for older people?? Our equivalent is called Saga magazine!
That was a great interview.
Not more than a week ago, I got a mailing from AARP (I'll be 55 in January) and I tossed it in the trash. Maybe that was a mistake.
[There you go, Karen!] 🙂
Hmmm. I don’t know how to publish links, clearly.
