Where do the ghosts gather in your town?
There are several places here in Lake Elsinore that are rumored to be haunted, but two of them are widely believed to actually be haunted. Probably the most well-known haunt in town is Chimes antique store. It used to be a bath house in the 1800s and there are reports of several different spirits or entities; a ghost that moves a certain set of china dolls, a drowned man in the basement and a man who was murdered in the baths. I've never been inside Chimes, but I buy fuel across the street often and I always keep a look out for any ghosts.

The other is the olive groves at the bottom of the Ortega Highway. It's always the same entity reported there; a woman running or being chased and hiding among the olive trees. That's a sad way to spend your afterlife, don't you think? This is a spot I ride by a lot, especially at night, but I've never seen the running woman. If I ever do, I'll try to help her.
So, what are the haunted places where you live? Do you believe in ghosts? Have you ever seen a ghost
This was my high school, and it was haunted, according to some.
It’s been turned into condos since it closed - not sure if the ghosts have left though. 😳
A "ghost story" with a tenuous Bruce link.
I saw Joe D'Urso perform at the Half Moon in Putney, South West London about ten years ago. Nearby, across the other side of the Thames is Fulham Palace. I had time before the gig to take a walk through it's grounds. It was dusk and I was walking from the palace to All Saints Church. I felt something was not quite right. I looked through into some ornate gardens and saw a male figure in Tudor dress who was then joined by a second female figure also in Tudor dress.
I thought to myself don't be silly, the likeliest explanation was that they were there for the tourists. Anyway, after a good bit of rocking from Joe and Stone Caravan with the usual couple of Bruce covers and "Bruce is The Boss and Old Blue Eyes is the Chairman of the Board" lyrical shout-out I went home.
A few years later I was back in the area and decided to take the walk as it was a nice sunny day. The place where I thought I had seen the ornate garden was now walled. Old walls. I have since found out about 300 years old. I tried to find the garden I had seen but could not. This, sort of, undermined my tour guide theory. But also don't ghosts appear in contemporary surroundings? Then I thought of the time-slip phenomenon. So I have probably not seen a ghost. But something wierd might have happened.
Ghosts fell out of fashion a long time ago over here. Maybe they were shipped over to America?
We have a ghost town walk, a guided walk around the town, which used to happen every Saturday evening during the winter - I assume it isn't happening this year. I have never been on it and am sure it is full of nonsense and is just another way of parting tourists from their money! Of course there are stories of ghosts inhabiting the old theatre and Shakespeare's houses but I am sure nobody takes them seriously.
I don't believe in ghosts as such but, much as Bruce says about dreams, I do dream about people who have died who I was close to and I find it comforting. I can also feel my mum on my shoulder at times. I want it to be true that she is still looking out for me, so I choose to believe that there is something after our earthly life.
No and no.
