So, the Missus watches a bunch of these shows, Bargain Hunt........there's a few others, one where a celeb and an antiques person cut about in a vintage car, two teams compete.
This is a totally random thought, but surely they do these completely wrong way round?
They go to antique fairs, antique shops......and buy things to sell at auction to make a profit.
But I'd have thought the conventional route, and I'm by no means an expert, would be to make the shrewd purchases at auction before selling them in shops/fairs.
No idea why this suddenly occured to me, but do I need to get out more?
I'm not familiar with that one, though I daresay 'er indoors watches it.
I think it's "Antiques Roadtrip" the one I was thinking of, with the vintage motors.
@AJ I always reckoned that being on Bargain Hunt would be a giggle, my tactic would be to buy really low......modest aspirations.
