I'm watching Forrest Gump tonight. A few minutes ago, during Forrest's running period, this scene came on, with Bob Seger's Against The Wind as the music.
The landscape struck me in a very odd way as familiar, but not from the times I've seen the movie before. I felt like the guy in Close Encounters staring at Devil's Tower. Then it hit me and I thought, no, couldn't be, so I pulled up this album cover.
This can't be a coincidence, can it?
Ahhhh Monument Valley, the most beautiful sight that isn't Grace Kelly or Claudia Cardinale known to man 😊
Makes me wonder what other references, if any, can be found in that movie.
Not too long ago a brilliant album by album thread on Bob Seger's music came to an end on SHF. I really enjoyed following it. This was posted in reference to the cover and the consensus was, yes, it's definitely no co-incidence.

I swear if I was any good at photo shop, I'd have fun with those photos.
I'll say no, it can't be. Good eye.
