I thought this would a good place to introduce or reintroduce ourselves. I came to dislike my old Laker name, Marilla Gorilla, because, 1.) I like to think I am better looking than a gorilla, and 2.) when I chose the name Marilla I was thinking of the young, vibrant daighter of Anne (of Green Gables) not the grumpy woman who adopted her. The daughter was actually called Rilla. 🤨
So I thought that Willow, ‘neath which, many Bruce protagonists can be found, would be a good new name.
I was Kent Guitar
I'm still the same person! Some random facts about me are: My parents took me to my first Bruce show and have come to every tour (but far from every show) I've been to since then; During lockdown I've become a rabid Taylor Swift fan; I get paid to think about accountancy - a job I can mostly do at home while playing games, watching shows, or listening to music;
Around the time my parents took me to my first Bruce show they also took me to Thailand, where I used to spend my evenings playing Connect Four with prostitutes - I was 14 I think. So yeah; that's me.
I'm Christian, Dr. Zoom both here and there. Been a fan since 1985, I now live in northern Norway. Very happy to be here with all you good people.
I’d also like to say that Willow looks nothing like a gorilla. Good name change. 😁
I’m Karen. Anytime I’ve signed up for a forum on the internet, I’ve never taken the time to come up with a good secret name. So here we are.
I have always been known as Tom Joad on Bruce forums. I’m an anxious, depressed wreck of a marxist.
I am buddhabone. some of you know me as Adam. I have been a fan since 1980 when my dear departed Mother got into a fight with her boyfriend. I became her date to the 11/1/80 show at the LA Sports Arena (The dump that jumps) This moment changed my life and since then my fascination with Bruce grew and grew. I need to share my obsession with others. I survived the old Stone Pony London, and then the old Greasy Lake. I am here to read what you write and share my inner most feelings. I am so glad we are here.
I'm not the Walrus, but I'm JustMe in another life.
I'm Bosstralian. Because I live in Australia, love the Boss as well as a bad pun. And that's as bad a pun as you will get.
I'm Rick. I can't think of anything to tell you about myself that I haven't already told.
i havnt used my laptop for so long - my typing and spelling are awful and i feel glitchy
ive typed this like 3 times but i bumped somethimg and it disapaired
i didnt even hesitate to keep my name - she has been me for almost 10 years and we are engrained in each other, as ive said before im pretty much exactly like her except in real life im alot more quiet and reserved.
I even kept the spelling mistake
you can call me Nicky if you want
But Daisey jeep was a real Jeep and her arrival and her departure are integrial in my Bruce journey having a major role in my finding my way back to my fandom, then latter paying for my trip to Moncton
So some days im a Jeep named in honour of Catherine Bach, somedays im a duck, somedays im a flower and somedays im a young Queen Maegrethe -Princess Daisy of Denmark (opps wrong forum) but i always wear my heart and my fandom on my sleeve
i have no idea how to make photos smaller
Does anyone remember the PTL Club? You know, the 'religious' crooks. While drunk one night in the late 1970's, I called their phone line and promised to send them $15 a month (never sent a penny). For years they sent me mail under the name I gave them. I still use it on occasion, as you can see. My first name really is Bill.
😎
berlintramp aka berlintramp. The name fits me just right and came about by accident when I joined the other Lake. All the female Bruce-related names were taken, so I thought I would own up where I come from and make it easy. I'm probably the elder stateswoman around here, but I don't stand on ceremony.
As the screen name might indicate, I'm Scott.
Became a Springsteen fan (thanks to a guy who interested in my older sister, who did not reciprocate said interest) shortly before The River was released and by the time of Nebraska Bruce was by far my favorite solo artist.
In the Aughts was one of the moderators of Bruce's Place, one of the email lists which attempted to replace the late great Lucky Town listserv.
Grew up in the northeast, have since lived in NYC and on Long Island, down in Virginia, down San Diego way and am now up in the People's Republic of Portlandia with my wife and a billion kids.

From the ashes of Paolo's Circus Story, Mario Brega did rise.
Upon re-reading, I appear to have typed the world's worst online dating profile.
Apologies and hello.
