...Indeed I do!
My new philosophy when it comes to 'new' releases from Mr. Springsteen is to not expect too much. So far it's worked out very well...Letter to You still resonates with me and I consider some of the stuff on that album as good as anything he's done in decades. That album sounds great, but hit me emotionally...I wasn't expecting that and happy it did.
One tune in from the Soul Covers... this hit me in a way different way...it's simply fun...2 and a half minutes of joyful noise.
I hope at least half of the rest of it is as much fun.
I've say more about the song in the album review, but for now a few words (literally) in this little E Street Review

Billy i couldn't wipe the smile off my face watching that video. "Fun" is a good thing.
Agreed on the 2 odd minutes of joy and happiness. You know what? The world could do with a fun album right now, something that makes us smile and tap our feet.
Looking forward to the rest.
Side note.... Am I correct in saying this is the first new album to not have 'Bruce' on the cover, just Springsteen?
I can't wait myself to uncover the album when it's released. It's just so damn exciting for me, sure they're all covers but not only do I have my fave artist interpreting them, they're still new songs to me coz based on the song titles, I know two of the 15 songs. As a music lover I love being introduced to new shit. Yet it's old shit.
